run-around!

I'm so annoyed. I called my insurance to see what requirements I need to meet to get there approval for surgery. I talked to pre cert they sent me to customer service. I talk to them and they send me somewhere else. Then someone else sends me to pre cert. I hate getting the run a round. Sorry had to vent.

Insurance does not want to tell us as a means to avoid paying and to avoid lawsuits. But your insurance coordinator for your surgeon might know.

Yeah that's what I assumed. I won't find out from the insurance lady for awhile. I have to do my psych evaluation before they talk to insurance..

Try to call back, ask for a manager if neccessary. Document names and if necessary put your concerns in a letter and write to the attention of the CEO, COO etc. (E Mails are better...You WILL get a answer. OR see if there is a complant line

Don't give up! Best Wishes :)
