Can anyone tell me what the signs and symptoms of c diff is?

Uncontrollable diarrhea. Like pooping yourself. Usually a fever, nausea and vomiting. Like the worst stomach bug you can imagine.

I work in a hospital where c-diff is very common. If you are having no formed stools I would suggest going to the doctor. C-diff can make you very dehydrated very fast. Watery stools are the #1 sign. Along with feeling like you have a horrible stomach flu.

Well the diahrrea is there and has been there for months. I have horrible horrible smelling gas and now my stomach hurts before I eat and after eat.

Are you mixing your shakes with milk? Maybe lactose intolerance.... About 9% of bypass patients develop it.

I don't take the shakes. I got horribly sick off of some and could never find something that I liked the taste and did not get sick on. It does not seem to matter what I eat I always have diahrrea.

This is me too. I am 2 weeks out today. My friend who is a nurse suggested me mentioning at my follow up?

My Dr suggested some fiber wafers...? I haven't looked for them yet...I've had diahhrea for 3yrs but mine is from radiation damage...i do understand how frustrating it is
