Diarrhea

Anyone have this issue? I have to go 4 to 5 times per day. Always with urgency and fear of not making it in time, as this has happened. I'm going to Florida to celebrate my grandsons birthday and I'm scared to death. Any info is appreciated.

Gosh I have the exact opposite problem so of no help here.. But suggest maybe you call your surgeon... Have fun with your grandson!!

I have constant diahrrea, and have since the surgery. I wish I could give you helpful tips, but I rely on over the counter medication.

Are you lactose intolerant? This used to happen to me and they took me off of milk and products with lactose. Its not uncommon for Bariatric patients to develop an intolerance to milk. Once I can off the dairy it took about 3 days to clear up

Can you take Lactaid for the lactose intolerance? Otherwise, I will miss not being able to have ff milk with my protein shake . Hope that I don't become intolerant.

My problem is constipation, and its BAD. I will give two of my constipation days for two of your diarrhea day and maybe they can balance out! Lol :) you should ask your doc is there something he'd recommend

Thanks guys! I buy lactose free milk and cottage cheese, and I do have Lactaid tablets. I think I finally got the horrible gas situation taken care of. The GI dr. Said the Prilosec they had me taking twice a day was the culprit. Good grief! The Dr. Prescribed a powder that I mix with water and it seems to be helping some. Thank heavens!
