Cant Win For Losing!

Well I have been sick since Thursday. Woke up Friday could barely talk sore throat cough. Had a terrible pre op today couldn't hear my ears were totally clogged up. All the perfume in the small room from all the other women didn't help so was torture trying not to cough but got through that part. Then went to hospital for pre admission testing got all the way through the ekg blood work speaking with nurse and had to see Physician assistant and wouldn't you know I couldn't hear a thing I couldn't quit coughing. She looked in both ears saw they were red but not infected saw the post nasal drip that was causing the throat soreness and irritation. So she said to start taking Claritin and dry it up because if it isn't they wont he able to do surgery. Is there any other ideas y'all have that can help?
