Weird Soup Question

My surgery is November 8. So I've been thinking about some foods for the early stages. I was wondering if I could strain the veggies from hot and sour soup and just enjoy the spicy broth. Anyone ever try it?

I don't see why not... I lived on soup and still do at 6 months post op - I just love soup. Of course now I can eat the soups with chunks of veggies, potato etc. etc. But at first it was just the broth and creamy low fat soups.

Just check the sugar and fat content. If its fairly low u will be fine. U dont want dumping syndrome. U also might find that ur stomach wont like the spices. Mine loved them but everyone is different.
