My Protein powder should i mix it with Water or skim milk on my first two weeks of liquid diet?

I use soy milk, and I love it...it doesn't give me gas:-)

I was allowed milk when I left the hospital. It was considered a liquid. I had the option of mixing my shakes with either. I used water because it made my shake thinner and at the time my pouch seemed to want that more. Now it depends on how much protein I've had for the day. If not enough I'll use milk to gain the protein count.

My nutritionist said mix it with milk. I am lactose intolerant and asked if i could use lactaid milk she said yes. I love that milk was afraid i wouldnt but use it for everything and i use the fat free
