first fill

Hi! I am now 4.5 weeks post-op and starting on real food (not to be confused with mush). The problem is that I feel no restriction and I am eating alot. Is this normal? My doc wants to see me at 6 weeks post-op. Has anybody had a fill earlier than six weeks? Thanx for your help

Yes, it's normal. I'm 2 weeks post-op and feel no restriction either. I'm scheduled for a fill at exactly 4 weeks post-op. Thank god I don't have to wait any longer than that. I'm dieting on will power alone right now, and it's not going to hold out much longer.

:speechles I was banded in september, my dr. will not do a fill until after 3 months post op. I did drop 50 pounds without the fill, however I was filled on Monday Jan. 29. My problem is that I went so long without a restriction that I was eating faster that I should have and now I get sick when I eat because I'm eating to quickly. Point of the story even if you don't have a restriction remember to eat slowly or you will be starting over like me.(Lisa)
