Hi anyone know if it's ok to do the slim fast shakes for 2 weeks before surgery to restring my liver??

My nut said that for every 10g of protein the calories need to be 100 or less. She did not recommend slim fast. Buy EAS it has 17g of protein and 100 calories. Costs about 5 bucks a 4 pack but you can get them in cases like at Sam's club

Same with special k shakes the calories are too high so don't use them either

You can buy Premier Protein shakes at Costco. 30 grams if protein and 160 calories per shake. They come in vanilla and chocolate. The vanilla is very sweet though and I really don't care for it.
