Not A Fun Topic...

Anyone having issues going to the bathroom? I'm almost 4 weeks out and have had horrible constipation. Painful! :(. What do you take to help relieve the symptoms?

I used Walgreens generic women's laxative. It worked that night and the next morning!

I've tried miralax, mineral oil and col aide. It's compacted and had to use a suppository. ( sorry too much info). I just don't want to go through this every week.

First are you drinking enough water? If so try stool softeners. I didn't have a regular BMW for like two months. I'm three months post op and now it's regular. Before surgery I went at least 2-3 times a day. After surgery I didnt go for days at a time. Now I'm like once a day.

I'm getting about 50 oz of water sometimes more per day. This is my 2nd chance, had a revision. First time I didn't have issues like this. I'm taking a stool softener every night..... Doesn't seem to help much.

Maybe you need a laxative to get you started. I know it's so uncomfortable. Sometimes if I'm feeling irregular I will take one ducolax.
