Well im pregnant for the first time. I was talking to my hugh risk ob and told her that my preganancy was unexpected. She said no, it is expected because fertility is at its greatest when your loosing weight. Watch out, you will be preggers in no time after wls. Good luck

I had my 1st RNY in 2004, I had fertility problems conceiving my oldest daughter. So I was VERY surprised when I came up preggers in 2006. It was 2yrs after my initial surgery. I've regained 80lbs and just had a RNY revision to correct the opening from the stoma to intestine. Good Luck conceiving. I believe my Dr suggested to wait at least 18 months after surgery.
