Hmmm good question I wish I had an answer for u. Your body could just be detoxing all the junk out of it. I'm on day 2 of my 14 day pre-op diet but I'm allowed to have 3oz portions of lean meat also but have to stay between 600-800 calories a day. Have u called ur surgeons office to ask them?

Sometimes sorbital in fruits can and will upset your stomach, my dietician said no veggies or fruits during this pre op diet.. My first week I was on my high protein diet, my body was going through withdrawls (stomach pains), but then it subsided.
