Newbie!!!

Hi all! Yes, I am a Newbie to this site. I had asked my surgery coordinator just this morning if she could get me in touch with someone in my area (West Virginia) who had the lapband done. When I got home this afternoon, I had an email from a very nice lady (lbj5362) who recommended this site. This nice lady included her phone number in her email so I called her and we talked for and hour and a half!

A little about me...I attended the seminar in November, had a consultation in December and on Wednesday had an endoscopy done. I've also had and EKG and blood work done. In the next couple weeks, I'm scheduled for a sleep study and psych eval. I'm not sure how fast things may happen but I'm so ready for it, especially after talking to lbj5362. She was such a help!:D

Hi all,

I had my lap-band op on 10/27/06, my weight was 245 ibs, as of today I'm 215, I lost 20 pounds during my first 2 weeks and its coming off slowly. I had my first fill on 12/27. 1cc only, the doctor want me to start off slow. I will have another fill on 2/27. I began walking 3 miles a day 4 times a week. I don't have a scale in my house for the purpose of driving myself crazy weighing in, If i want to know what I weigh I'll drive 30 min to my MD office. :hungry:
