Never Ever Again!

Tonight I went with my hubby to a little restaurant. I ordered a hamburger patty and some cottage cheese. I ate less than 1/2 of the hamburger patty but I'm feeling it. I won't do that ever again,

I'm about 5 weeks out. My surgery was May 1

I had surgery on May 3rd and was thinking of a hamburger. You just cured that! Thanks :~).

Yeah hamburger was a hard one I don't think I've managed hamburger well until just recently!

Ground beef of any kind still causes issues, pain and sometimes dumping. Ground turkey works well though, I use it for Sloppy Joes, meatloaf, chile etc. Unless I tell my family they have no idea or complaints!

I had a beef patty when I went out to eat with my daughters and I tolerated it really well. It was flame broiled, not fried. I think that made a big difference. I ate about 2/3 of it. I believe it was a quarter pound (before it was cooked, of course). It was a little dry and I was dying of thirst but it sat in my stomach ok.
