Do I need to call

Lately when I drink, I am getting cramping. Sometimes it is an 8 or so on the pain scale but quickly passed within 1 min or so. Other times there is no pain, or a lower pain scale for a longer time.

I am able to keep myself hydrated and generally feel good.

Other possible factors, I have not had a decent bm since surgery and it is my time of the month.

Called the dr just to be safe. He thought it was just esophagus having spasms. Said to back off all food and drink water. Warm or hot water.
