Hello Everyone . I live in NC , and I have completed all but 1 of my pre-op tests !! I'm very excited . But I haven't really told anyone , how did you go about telling people or did you not tell anyone ?

My surgeon has his patients to start their pre-op diet right away after we see the nutritionist. We eat lean meats' date=' fruits, veggies. We can have oatmeal too. But we don't do any liquid diet. We start our liquids right after surgery.[/quote']

Oh ok !! I saw my nutritionist about 2 weeks ago but they didn't tell me I had to start anything. But they did say I have to start a liquid diet either two or four weeks before surgery which I guess is good but dang four weeks is a lot..

I am so glad I don't have to do the liquid diet before. But I've been thinking about doing it for 2 weeks prior to surgery.
