  1. Wow! I haven't been on here in months. How is everyone who had surgery in November 2013??? I can personally say that this is THE BEST decision I ever made! I wish I would have done it sooner! Hope everyone is doing well!!! My stats - HW 260 SW 237 CW 185.6 GW 140. Tabbatha
  2. I don't take vitamins until after my post-op visit with my dr. I just had surgery on 11/1.
  3. Yes! Everything else is going great. I just have a little soreness. Thank God the gas started coming out this morning. I was belching and everything. Lol I am so thankful I'm able to get my liquids in so far. I'm doing 4oz every hour. How's it going for you so far?
  4. I find that room temp is just fine.
  5. Had surgery yesterday. It was a success. I was very sore, nauseous, and a little gassy. I walked a couple of times. That made me feel better each time. I also took in my Water and Protein. Not bad at all. My sleeve didn't like cold water or protein. Today, I feel much better. Just sore in one spot. I will definitely do more walking today. Overall, I feel pretty good.
  6. My doctor is the same way. I only had a liquid diet today.
  7. They changed my surgery date to 11/1. So tomorrow is my surgery.
  8. I cannot believe that tomorrow is surgery.
  9. I will keep you updated. You will be in my thoughts and prayers too. ????
  10. I am so excited too! Soon it will be a reality for us.
  11. I totally agree. I was emotional and anxious the last few days. Now I am good.
  12. Thank you! That means a lot to me.
  13. 3 more days and then I get sleeved on Friday 11/1. I'm now ready!
  14. 6 days left until I am sleeved. I think that I've hit almost every emotion that there is. I'm grateful to everyone who has shared their own experience. You have no idea how much I appreciate you!
  15. You guys are doing great! I have my surgery next week on 11/1. Excited!
  16. I don't find anything wrong with that. I plan on doing that next Friday with my family.
  17. Thank you so much! That means the world to me. I looked at it as if I'm going to change I might as well start now. I found out that I needed to get my mind straight first. Once I got that in order and made my decision I was good to go. The withdrawal from the soda was the worst. I used to drink 2 or more 2 liter bottles a day. I have no idea how in the world I did that for so long. lol These days I feel great!
  18. My doctor had me start changing my diet after I saw him in August. I don't have to do any special diet before. I changed my eating habits actually on my own before I saw my surgeon. I've been following clean eating and I've been free from soft drinks for 4 whole months and do not ever plan on going back to them. I've lost 22 pounds so far. I'm excited about getting sleeved. I find it most encouraging hear of everyone else's stories and achievements. I thank you for sharing!
