  12. I am so glad I don't have to do the liquid diet before. But I've been thinking about doing it for 2 weeks prior to surgery.
  13. Were they all booked up? When I had my appointment I called in July and saw the nutritionist in August. I love Dr P. Very good doctor and his staff is great. My surgery date was changed to 11/1. The surgery will be in Charlotte.

  15. My surgeon has his patients to start their pre-op diet right away after we see the nutritionist. We eat lean meats, fruits, veggies. We can have oatmeal too. But we don't do any liquid diet. We start our liquids right after surgery.

  17. I wish you all the best too!!! My doctor had me on a pre-op diet since I first saw him. It basically consist of making changes to your diet now such as not drinking soda or sugary drinks, eating lean meats, and taking in at least 64 ounces of water. I had already started doing that already. I've lost 22 pounds so far. I know some people have to do a liquid diet before. My doctor don't require that. He has the other diet to help you adopt healthy habits now.
  18. My surgery got changed to 11/1. I am in Charlotte, NC. I am looking forward to the surgery. I've been feeling very emotion the last day or two. I guess that is normal. I am excited and nervous.
