Phase 2 sample menu

Hi, wondering if anyone has a sample menu of their soft/puréed phase that was 2-3oz protein 1-2oz carbs each meal and managed to get 70g protein... I'm lost :( and will be on Phase 2 of post op diet next week. Thanks so much :)

I'm on the pureed phase now and I use my Magic Bullet to chop my meals till they are mush! 2oz piece of tilapia with 2 tbls of thinned mashed potatoes puree really good! I had 2oz of chicken breast with 2 tbls thinned mashed potatoes last night and it was pretty much like mush by the time me and my MB got finished pulverizing it! I can't eat it all but it helps me get my proteins in. I'm still having a protein shake for breakfast usually but thinned cream of wheat with an egg pulverized in it is pretty good. Decaf coffee with chocolate protein powder in it ain't bad either! All of these things were on the sample menu that my doc gave me when he moved me up to pureed. Hope some or all of this helps.

Thanks so much! Yes a huge help, my Nutritionist gave me a list of things but I can only have a 4oz protein shake a day which makes no sense if I need 70g protein a day also a runny scrambled egg applesauce Greek yogurt lentil soup mashed potatoes and so on and I can purée meats if I choose but not veggies. It was a short list and 70g seemed like a lot for such a limited list.

Unflavored protein powder might help...I mix it in with creamed soups, applesauce, yogurt, & mashed taters...I usually use 1/2 a serving of it just to keep the foods 'normal'!!!

What I did was take 4 oz of milk and mix it with I scoop of protein powder which is 20g of protein... If you drink 3 of those a day and have a Greek yogurt - you will get 70g of protein... But like the previous post if you use unflavored protein powder and mix one scoop in that will give you 20g of protein too... I use Unjury brand..

That wasn't too thick? I was thinking it would be like a rock in my stomach
