Accident

Was making Chicken soup with veggies for all my kids and I as I was cutting veggies I compleat lay forgot about the surgery I ate a piece of carrot chewed on it and swallowed it that's when I realize OMG u started Getting really nervous walked around and drank some water. What to do is this ok I'm only a week and two days off surgery and now this.

If you aren't having pains right now then it is okay but don't do it again. Your stomach is healing and it works hard to digest raw veggies like that. I am 5 weeks out and not even eating that yet.

I think if something bad were to happen, your body would tell you. As long as you're not in pain, or throwing up, or something like that, I think you're fine. Just try not to do it again! :)

I did the same thing with a bite of potato salad at one week. Luckily I realized what I had done before I swallowed so I was able to spit it out. It is crazy how some things like tasting what we are cooking or just nibbling become habit. Now, I have the opposite problem because now I can taste what I am cooking, and I still find myself calling for my hubby to taste for me.
