I have my initial consult!

I just submitted my initial paperwork last Friday. I received a call today that they verified my benefits and set up my consultation. I am so excited! I have Empire BCBS and from what the lady said on the phone that I should be able to have the surgery by the end of the year. I looked up my insurance requirements and it seems pretty straight forward. I can't get in to see the dr. until October 15th but she would call me back if she had a cancellation.

It took me about 2.5 years of thinking about this to actually do it. I'm so ready to get on with my new life!
