Thanks Tab ;-) I'm VERY nervous at this point....I mean totally excited, but right now, the official day before my nerves are shot. Not enough Xanex in the world seems to be helping :-(

Had my surgery this past Monday, 10/07/13, and got home Thursday evening from hospital. Everything went great, been sipping and walking and doing what I need to. Pain is moderate and with sipping and walking is fading away. Down just about 20 pounds and already off four meds and testing shows no longer pre diabetic. My incisions look great and were glued, no stapling or stitching.

The bruising is NOT from surgery, it is from having to stop my Coumadin medicine two weeks prior to surgery and switch it to Lovenox shots that I had to do in my stomach twice a day for two weeks. Just didn't want anyone to think it was from surgery. ;-)
