My husband was sleeved on June 10. Since then he has been very ill. He has been hospitalized for severe dehydration a total of 12 times. He cannot eat any solid food without vomiting & has a hard time even getting water down. He has constant nausea & a pain at the top of his stomach. He also constantly spits & has to carry around a cup everywhere he goes. His doctor hasn't been much help. He keeps telling him that it will improve but it doesn't. I feel strongly that he's experiencing bile reflux. I've read that revision surgery where the sleeve is converted to the roux-en-y bypass has been extremely effective. Anyone have any experience with this that they can share? Also I should add that he has lost 106 pounds since then.
