Stomach grumbles

I'm 7 days post op and this is my last day of clear liquids. I've been having what I think are hungry pains but then again I'm thinking is just that the stomach is healing and causing pain. I still have pain meds I Can take but I'm just trying to stay off them. Is this normal?

Try a sugar free antacid like tums free (avoid pepto bismol). Acid often makes us feel hungry.

yes, it's normal. Your stomach is still healing and sometimes its head hungry and drinking water helps or having a healthy snack. My dr, said I should be eating something every two hrs when woke.
