Started pre-op now cant sleep?

Anyone else have trouble sleeping after starting Pre-op diet? I am usually a head hits the bed and I'm asleep kinda girl but last night I was up til at least 3am and even then barely stayed asleep. It's going to make for a fun day today!

Possibly your (previous) high carb diet helped to sedate you. But this too shall pass! Enjoy the pre-op, and it gets better after 3/4 days...

I take melatonin, it's a sleep aid found on the vitamin isle. Knocks me out in about 30 minutes. It's not a strong sleep aid, it'll make you feel sleepy, but if you later decide to stay up, the sleepiness passes after another 30 minutes.
