No doctor visit prior to surgery?

Is this bad?

I mean, obviously it could be better. I am pre op and have only been told to fill out the medical/consent forms and start a pre op diet a certain amount of time prior.

So is this bad? Should I get some blood work done?

    That does sound strange. I had blood work done and an EKG. Some people have to do even more then that.
