Yay! I can workout now!

  • Popular Post

It's my six week post op today and that means...I'm off my 15 lbs lifting weight restriction and can do other forms of workouts other than walking (boring boring boring!!). Yahoo! I celebrated today by doing a belly dancing workout video and I even wore a hip scarf with jangly coins. I probably looked like a complete idiot but it was fun and I'll get better. My husband watched me for a bit with a smile on his face and said "cool" a couple of times. Maybe I'll keep this up! ;). Zumba, salsa and ballroom dancing are next...once I get a bit lighter, it's back to tap dancing!

I love love love belly dancing and yes I wear the scarf too. I also do bollywood which is just as fun.

My hubby likes to watch too...he usually gets a big surprise when I'm done! He's like a kid in the candy store waiting for the tapes to be done. ;)
