Sore Throat, not from surgery

I am 6 days post op and I end the day with a sore throat. I do not start out with one and I had only a slight one the day after my surgery. I'm not sure if its from the liquid diet, but can't imagine that only liquids will give me a sore throat. Has anyone else experienced this?

Ha, funny but that would be so simple wouldn't it... It may very well be... Now I feel stupid...

I do the same thing. Over the weekend I went to a knitting show and thought I was catching a miserable cold. Blew off a party Sat night cause I was chilling and my throat was so scratchy. Took Claritin and a decongestant and was fine by Sunday. Guess something at the knitting show got to me.
