Salad

So today I decided to be adventurous and bought a salad from chick-fil-a for lunch. I haven't been thinking too much outside of the nix for food ideas. Been really scared to eat stuff other then the usual chicken, cheese, eggs etc etc. But to my surprise my stomach didn't reflect it. Had 1/4 for lunch then another 1/4 for later lunch and still have some left over. Looks like my stomach gave me the All Clear for veggies. I feel soo much better now.

Thanks. I tried to pick out the chicken, cheese and egg before I ate the salad part. I was actually happy my tummy didn't reject it and I'm not a salad person.

I'm three weeks post op. The salad actually helped me go to the bathroom. I thought that it was going to be a bad reaction but it went just fine.

Just make sure you eat salads with protein if it is your main item for the meal and eat all the protein if you can! I love salad and eat it often but it always has lots of protein in it. Mainly chicken like yours today! Enjoy! :)

How far out are you? I can't wait to get to veggies which we love.

I keep asking my NUT every week if I can have salad yet (I'm 8 weeks out now....and I'm craving it). She keeps telling me not until around 10-12 weeks :( How far along are you?

I've been on a cooked artichoke kick at the moment lol
