Full liquids

Just started my full liquid phase today. Anyone else in this stage? My nutritionist said cream based soup is okay but it notes it should be 98% fat free and made with skim milk. I'm having a tough time finding one that meets those requirements. Anyone else have any ideas of things they ate during this stage that was acceptable. So far pudding and yogurt have been My nutrition for the day. I'm going to try a protein shake this afternoon.

I had a very hard time getting any liquids in for the first few days too. Something that works for me is diluted white grape juice and sf Popsicles. I was served diluted juice while in the hospital which turned out to be the easiest thing to get down.

I've posted three soups in the recipe sharing section that are home-made, high Protein soups with some flavor that we've been enjoying. A creamy shrimp bisque, a lobster bisque made differently, and tonight I posted a chicken and mushroom soup. Without the soups, we would be so heartily sick of the protein shakes! We alternate between the shakes and soups all day.

I have also done two easy bean soups. One was black bean soup from Panera, thinned and puréed. The other was red Beans (no rice) from Popeyes, thinned and puréed.

I'm currently in the full liquid stage and I've found that the progresso light soups are awesome.. I open the can and use a small strainer to strain out all of the chunks and I eat the juice/broth.. It's great
