So sorry to hear this. Were you given and options such as getting some pre-surgery counseling to deal with the issues before the psychologist would clear you?

Get a second opinion, if you still want to be sleeved.

Yes I was given the option but that costs money. And my primary physician said he was more concerned about my health than my mental status.

I don't understand why you can't get a second opinion? Another Psychologist?

I see the psychologist on the 23th and im dreading it as I gained 2kg snd my consultant wasent happy so im expecting her to say sorry your not ready, my heart goes out to you hope you get it sorted xx

Can you say second opinion? Yeah that is what you should do. You don't have to submit this doctors eval. Find someone else.

I would get a second opinion
