Stomach insicions

I am 7 weeks out and am having soreness in my stomach area and the large scar feels like it has a knot under it, what could that be? The skin feels tight.

There is a good possibility that it is just scar tissue or possibly some fluid build up that will absorb on its own. If it does not go away before your next appt with your dr you could ask him if its possibly a hernia. I would really only be concerned about getting medical treatment right away if there is puss or something similar coming out of it.
