Help! Please...

I'm two Weeks out and the surgeon said i can move on to soft foods. I tried tuna and used fat free mayo and left it a lil bit watery. I threw it all up, how long did it take you all to actually be able to get some solid foods down comfortably?

It was even hard for me to eat a bite of a scrambled egg :/

Denise,

I found that too!

Erica,

Thanks i love avocado.. Yummy... I'll have to try that out in a couple of days when my stomach is settled from this episode :)

Awesome let me know how it works for you. I have a great chicken salad recipe with Avocados as a substitute as well. I love it is delicious

After week one I was on to puréed and strained food for two else. Then soft foods. Now almost four months out still have to choose carefully or my pouch will let me know! Good luck to u and be patient. It's a process of learning what works for u.

Is it normal 3 weeks out I can literally eat anything? Not a lot of it cuz I get the tightness but yeah' date=' can eat normal food just fine.., think my sleeve isn't working properly??[/quote']

Me too I can eat everything it's crazy I hope I will lose weight

I don't know if you can have it but I replacement to Mayo try Avocados. That is a great substitute for mayo and its great for you. I have had surgery yet so I don't know if you can eat it.

I love avocado, and I have been using Wholly Guacamole packs on top of my chicken breast to keep it from being so dry. I'll have to try it with tuna- I am not a big fish eater, but I have been trying different Proteins and I would like to eat more canned tuna because it is so convenient, but have not found a way that I like it.
