Wow this has been one hell of a journey. I finally made it, I am getting a hernia fixed and the gastric sleeve this Thursday. Any recommendations or advice?

Yeah I have always been big I don't remember ever being a size 14 and I am only 25. I know some people don't have to diet and I find that crazy. My dr only wanted me to do 3 day liquid but I think I am going to start tomorrow which qould be 4 just to be safe. That makes me nervous though reading on here people are doing 2 weeks.

Yeah I have to do two weeks.. As soon as I find my surgery date out..

I'm having surgery on Thursday too !!!! Next week this time I'll be post-op and on my way home from Mexico. Wishing you a uneventful surgery and a smooth and comfortable recovery. HIGH FIVE

What is your preop diet?

I'm in the same boat - surgery Thursday for both the sleeve and hernia repair. I can't wait! Good luck to you, it will be here in the blink of an eye!

Good luck to you also! I am doing my 1st day of liquid holy moly its hard but I know I have to and its for the best I feel bad for all the people that have to do 2-3weeks, I am so sorry.
