Congrat! lucky you! :)

I still haven't even been to my first appointment.. I can't wait and hope the UHC approval process goes smooth ;)

Your welcome!

My insurance UHC has a few requirements (physician supervised attempts to lose weight, Psych eval etc) I have to complete before they approve my surgery.

I also have uhc choice epo plan an requirements I have include getting documentation from physician proving 5 years of obesity...

Oh really.. mine just says: Physician-supervised diet must be documented within the last 2 years prior to approval.

But I do have doctor documents showing obesity from 2007... I have them ready for my first appointment.

Yes I also have to do 6 month diet, but I was told that u could use documentation from prior weight loss programs as long as they were done within last 5 years. Idk have any of u heard this? I have tried plants of different programs but none of them were done 6 months consecutively.
