Well after all of the doctors appointments shrink visits, nutritionist visits, weight watching and preop diets it looks like it is finally down to the last 24 hours. My surgery is scheduled for noon tomorrow here in Oklahoma City. Me and six other patients are scheduled for that day. I was told the surgery was going to take 45 minutes and I will be spending 4 hours in recovery. Then up to my room for the start of my new life as a skinny person. I have been asked many times, "aren't you nervous?" and I can honestly say no. I have done so much research on this that I really have a handle on it. I have been going to lots of support group meetings and let's just get this show on the road. Wish me luck and I will see you all on the other side.
