Food stage

Just a question for those of you in the "food" stage after surgery what kind of bean were you eating?? A lot of people say that they eat refried beans I was thinking about lentil beans. I know it's all a learning process so it's going to be fun and interesting to see how my taste buds have changed.

I'm on pureed food stage so I'm eating refried beans. Had them for breakfast this morning! I can eat other kinds of beans and legumes as long as I puree them. I have a can of golden lentil daal in the cupboard that I've been meaning to attack with an immersion blender. I know a lot of other people who have eaten lentils and white beans with no problems.

I started with hummas, and then moved to any beans in moderation... Chew a lot!

Pureed lentils are fine! They are good pureed with a little Greek yogurt and spices.
