Help!

My own salvia is making me sick, and of course I have drainage in my throat that doesn't help. I am constantly spitting and/or gagging to not have to swallow my own salvia. I have been taking Claritin to try and help the drainage but it hasn't seemed to help. I have 5 wks post-op
