Hi Kim! I like the ready to drink Premier Protein shakes that I get at SAMs Club. I think they are also available at costco. They have 30 grams of protein in 11 oz and low carbs/low fat. But can I offer you some advice? Try as many as you like but don't buy a whole bunch before surgery. Your tastes might change after surgery. Mine did. I used to like the Isopure clear liquid Protein because it wasn't "milky" - kind of like Gatorade. It had 15 grams of protein per 8 oz. But after surgery I didn't like the aftertaste anymore. For some people their tastes change after surgery, but not everyone :-) Hope this helps.

Get yourself some unflavored Protein powder and unjury's chicken Soup flavor. Even after surgery I still love my sweet Protein drinks but they got old when it was all I could have. Chicken broth (with powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury mixed in) saved my sanity a few times.

You are so right! Before surgery I loved the Isopure protein drinks. After surgery, I can't drink them at all! I even did a taste test on about 7 flavors, no luck!
