I'm a August 19th'er with Dr. Wegner in Memphis' date=' Tn!! Are my fellow future sleevers ready? I started packing my bag today just to be sure I don't forget anything important!![/quote']

Hey, that's my doctor!!! Isn't he kinda hot??? (Ok, off subject...I know) but ill be getting sleeved on Sep. 16th!!! I'm soooo excited!!! How was ur stay at St. Francis???

I had my surgery Aug 26 and recovery is going well, I think. I'm on pureed food, but I think it's hard to get the protein in and keep relying on protein drinks. I've used Greek yogurt, refried beans, ricotta cheese and a few veggies. Sometimes my stomach hurts.... I feel everything go down. Anyone else? Cramping? No nausea and the incision sites are not as painful, so off pain meds. I sure sleep alot...very little energy. I just don't know what's normal.

How's everyone doing three weeks out?

I'm doing pretty well. I'm 47 pounds down, 17 since surgery. Incisions are healing well and I can move pretty freely now. Most of the allowed foods are going down okay but a couple are still problematic. Cottage cheese still hurts and if I don't thin my oatmeal and refried Beans they hurt. I'm looking forward to getting some other types of food though. The shakes are still quite a staple for me but I'm still not quite managing to get all the Protein and Water in.
