Restless Leg Syndrome

This may be a strange question, but if anyone suffered from restless leg syndrome Pre-op did it get worse post-op? It has gotten bad for me and it makes it almost impossible to sleep!

After my surgery I had a bad bout of restless leg syndrome....My Dr. put me on Co-Pramipexole .25 mgs..

It made the difference right away...This med is used to help people with Parkinson's but is also used for this problem...

I never slept for 4 nights in a row and it was affecting my recovery.....This worked...

I have to take it for 6 months as the Dr. feels it will ease up after that...I am enjoying the time with out that horrible feeling in my legs....

Thanks. I see my surgeon on Tuesday and will ask him about this!

I have had it for awhile and I take Ropinirole, luckily it hadn't got worse since after surgery but the med is horrible on your stomach after surgery.

I'm having it in my legs & arms and yes for me, it's worse after surgery!

I've been taking pramipexole also and it works great with no side effects. Forgot one night post-surgery, and it was awful. Definitely ask your Dr.
