Hi and happy new year to everyone.

Does anyone have problems with the chatroom, when I've been in lately there have been upwards of 30 users yet no-one speaks mainscreen, my partner joked that it was like a chatroom for trappist monks :party: I've only once managed to chat to people who logged in just after me and it was really nice to have a real chat with other lapbanders and people yet to be banded.

Can anyone shed any light on this one please?

I think there is a glitch and when ever some one enters it never shows them as leaving...so everyone who has been in lately and left still appears to be there....

I am wondering if it is working at all. I tried numerous times last nite to initiate conversation, and nothing. Today the same thing. Is there a scheduled time that people get on this chat room??????

I tried it too---the 2 people chatting welcomed me, I responded, but got nothing further...tried a couple more times, with nothing. Then one of the gals chatting said something to the effect of " I hope Kat figures it out, she keeps coming and going". I had never left. Simply typed my responses, and enter....I gave up too!!!

If any of you are the ones in the chat room---it wasn't you---I just gave up, figured it wasn't working for me!

I know it's weird isn't it. I can't even see anyone chatting? Maybe someone out there could help us get on? And what do we have to figure out?

I had the same problem at around 330 am. I couldnt sleep and thought great look at all these people in the chat rooms. Yet no one responded to me at all in any of the rooms.

I've been on there a couple of times and have been lucky in that some people logged on right after me so was able to chat with them. All the other times there was no mainscreen chat at all.

When it works it's great - a real comfort to chat to other lapbanders, hope they get it up and running again soon.

I've encountered many of the same problems but I always shoved it off as "they didn't want to chat with a guy". But maybe I was wrong? Whew!

I thought the same thing myself , that they just didn't fancy talking to me - paranoid android chatroom syndrome hehe.

I had the same thing happen last night too, it showed 30 people in the main chat and another 20 people elsewhere but I couldn't raise a response anywhere. There must be a fix for that problem (showing people still there then they've left)... have any Admins contacted the forum people about it?

Possibly........people are logging into chat and then they log out of LBT without logging out of chat? I noticed that the names in the chatroom did not match the names of people online. Oh well, if anyone wants to chat send me a message! I'd be glad to hit my keyboard with you!
