I'm so confused, and a lot of anxiety. ..I have gallstones (my gastro founded by ultrasound) , because I have epigasteic pain and my pcp refered me to him.This friday he will do my endoscopy. ..ok, my question is who is supposed to do this surgery, my gastro, my surgeon? By the way, I have fever, back pain, pain under my ribs in both sides from last friday...If I need the gallbladder surgery, the insurance process its more fast or easy? Please any advise!!!

My bariatric surgeon is removing the gall bladder as well. Didn't even know I had stones until preop testing was done. No sense going in there twice.
