Surgery is july 8th !

I just signed up so hi everyone :)

I just started getting really nervous about everything . I don't eat too large of portions now and I get full but they're not that small either I guess but I'm just nervous it won't work or something . I'm getting nervous about extra skin . I'm getting nervous that I won't lose a lot or what if I lose too much and I'm just really really skinny . I'm 18 , turning 19 on July 15th :) I'm about 5'1 and 260lbs and my goal weight is 140 . Also for those who have had it what was your recovery like ? I go to school for cosmetology and I was wondering how long you think before I can go back ? I want to try to miss as little as possible . Thanks for the support !

Hi! Just wanted to share that my surgery is July 8 as well. I'm SO ready & excited to start losing weight but wanted to let you know that you're not alone in your fears. I have all the same ones. Maybe you can plan.on doing what I've been told....exercise. As soon as my Dr releases me I'm going to start exercising. My.dietician told me that the people who excessive have significantly less loose akin. Not just the required walking, but weight Bering exercise. I also wanted to share a few of my observations with you. I have a good friend who ha the surgery over year ago. From watching her I have learned some do' s & don't' s. At first she lost a good amount of weight by being compliant with the diet & exercise set by her Dr. However, a time went on she slowly starting resorting to her old diet. She ha been hospitalized a couple of times for dehydration & once for opening a small hole in the "seam" of her stomach. She started overeating enough that she opened up a hole. Her weight loss has significantly slowed down & at one point she was even gaining weight back. I take her "advice" with caution. I'm learning what NOT to do & how I want to do things by watching her. I would love to keep in touch & share progress stories & success tips! Good luck with your surgery!!

Congrats too da both of u I was sleeve last July on da 16th I was 287 when I went last time I checked I was 198 my lowest was 193 I was tryna be 180 by my birthday but I don't think that's workin out 4 me. Yes dere are a lot of dos and donts nd some times its hard to stay on them diets I eat more then I could when I first got out and still not a lot tho. Far as loss skin I have it on my arms legs nd stomach nd yes workin out helps u tighten it up but its hard for me to do that. But my recovery time was pretty sweet a little painful but every one body is different but I'm pretty sure u guys will do just find. Good luck
