ahhhh!! first mini-goal met

i cant believe it... i really havent posted here lately - been reading and nodding my head but not really posting much.. :)

after my "turbo" kick boxing class today i got on the scale .. i am down 60.125 pounds!! i made my goal with 1 day to spare. ;)

i just found out my in-laws (who have no idea i am losing weight/had surgery) will be in the end of March so that is the target date of my next goal... 39.875 pounds by the end of March for a total of 100 pounds. my loss has slowed so it is going to be a real challenge for me to knock the pounds out, but i am going to once again work my @$$ off. ;)

thank you all for the support you have given, HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Wow! Congratulations! You are doing awesome. My goal for the New Year is just to get into the regular exercise habit, and you've already got that going!

Tami

Awesome!!! You are such an exemplary October bandster. ;) Keep up the good work! I need to follow your lead and exercise more...

WOW, it seems like just yesterday you hit the "50 lb" mark, and now your already to 60 lbs! The exercise is paying off! I have no doubt you will reach your next goal in March. Keep up the determination, and don't get discouraged if the scale doesn't cooperate. Remember to take your measurements too. Sometimes the scales won't move, but the inches are still falling off. Your doing GREAT.

Your doing GREAT.

so says Ms. Sunshine who has lost 21 pounds pre-op!!!!

you, madame, are doing fabulous!!

i know i wouldnt be where i am now without working my tail off at the gym... i am the first to admit that some days my food choices could be a lot better (both in type and in volume).

the "experts" say that you replace one addictive type behavior with another. i truly think my behavior is working out. is that a bad thing?? maybe. it seems there are some days where i dont see my daughter as much as i would like :)

she has become a pro at saying "mama exercise" ... she wakes up and i go say good morning and she says it ... it's sad some days. what assists with that a bit is the fact i more than likely will be around longer for her.

losingjusme,

I am so proud of you. You are doing such a wonderful job with the band. And I agree, whoever said that WLS was the easy way out sure wasn't talking about the band. It is the safest way of the WLS, but certainly not easy.

I couldn't be happier for you. You are such an inspiration!!!!!!!!!
