first puree meal

Last night I pureed carrots, I had to contain myself to keep from shoveling it in...lol, it was great to have something more like FOOD. I had a boiled eggs blended well with a touch of lite mayo and mustard...for breakfast, IT WAS AWESOME. Going to start looking for some good lowfat nutritious cook books for when I am off of puree, I am NOT going to blow this just because I love food, I am going to enjoy it, be creative with it. I CAN DO THIS. :D

THAT SOUNDS YUM.

Refried beans, really? I'd be so afraid of gas...

Are you having a problem with swallowing the puree'? I feel like its getting stuck in my throat and it won't go down. Not sure if its gas or not.

Currently enjoying (at work): microwavable mashed potatoes with 2 wedges of Laughing Cow...yummmm. :)

I definitely eat "purees" or "mashes" much slower than I can drink liquids - especially if it's the first thing of that thickness I've eaten during the day. However, my NUT reminded me to just continue taking it slow - we're in for a lifetime of slow eating!
