Hello! So excited to be here. I am 50 years old and in Central Arkansas. Will be covered by my insurance after 1-1-07 and planning surgery in Little Rock. Probably Baker. Anybody out there had any experience with him? Also anybody out there as old as me? I have life long history of morbid obesity and wonder what will happen to all the skin?

I am totally jealous that you have an insurance that will cover. I have United Healthcare and I was told by my insurance company that they have never covered WLS. When I asked what they did for weight loss they replied that they had an exercise and diet program. I was very offened because they made it sound like I have not tried everything just to gain the weight back and more. After all my research I do not believe Weight loss surgery is an easy way out and I am paying for the surgery out of pocket because I just want something to aid in the effort I am already putting forth.
