I called the insurance company today to check on the status of my approval and they told me that I was APPROVED!! :wub: Yeah soo doing my happy dance.. but then come to find out I was approved for the lap-band.. I called and talked to my surgeon and they are going to call insurance with the new code. (Which I call UHC and they said that's all they would have to do ) They said that I will hopefully have my appointment for my EGD around the 16th and surgery toward the end of July!! I can't wait!! I am soooo freaking excited.. thank you soo much for all of you that sent good jue jue..

On a side note.. you don't think that they wouldn't approve the sleeve, but approved the band do you? Since essentially it's the same type of surgery..
