Getting ready to call the surgeons office and pay my co-pay, but when I dial the number and give them my card number....it's on!! I know it sounds crazy, but I have butterflies (in my soon-to-be much smaller stomach) I'm nervous, anxious it's silly....but this is huge!!!

Of course it's HUGE! :-) And it's not silly. If you hang out here long enough, it just SEEMS like VSG is like going on a two day vacation. "Bye honey, be back in a couple of hours." You leave the house, have a little procedure, come back home - TA DA!

I wouldn't let myself believe it was happening. I was in denial right up to the time they wheeled me into the operating room. I just kept telling myself that I could get up and walk out if I wanted to. :-P

It's a life altering (For the better!) surgery. And it's not to be taken lightly. Your whole outlook on food and life and exercise is going to change post-op.

Just be realistic. Don't wake up from surgery and ask, "Am I thin yet?" :-P
