    I would like to join, but I haven't shared that I have had surgery with anyone outside my immediate family. Even though no one outside the group can see what is posted they can still see it as a group that you belong to when you join, correct?

    OK, I just tried the view as function and none of my groups are showing to my friends so I'll send the request to join.. hope I'm still welcome even though I am already half way through my WL journey.

    Yes anyone who has gone through it or planning to have the sleeve is welcome. Even if you are just researching it.
