So hungry but it hurts to eat

I am almost one month post op and I have been good eating soft foods and all day today it hurts to eat I feel full but all I had today was three bites of a baked potato and just now I had pudding.. I honestly have not eaten like at all I've been drinking but stop 30 min before I'm going to eat is this normal I feel so full
